As a storyteller at heart, Dr. Nene has significantly contributed to the entertainment sector after returning to India in 2011. He is the co-founder of RnM Moving Pictures Pvt. Ltd., a world-class, platform-agnostic digital content company along with his wife Madhuri Dixit Nene. He has also created an Edu-tech platform named, ‘Dance with Madhuri’ in 2013 to help people learn dance from the masters, anywhere, anytime at the comfort of their home. This is available on iOS, Android, the web, DTH providers (TataSky, Videocon, Dish, Airtel) as well as in schools and this was way before the world even knew about the concept of ‘Learn From Home’ and were accustomed to this ‘New Normal’. The vision is simple: Give people access to world class information, services and products from domain leaders in a sustainable and widely scalable fashion.
Creating path breaking platform agnostic content!
Dr. Nene had forayed into film production in the first half of the year 2019 with a Netflix Original film titled 15th August, under the couple’s banner RnM Moving pictures which is a light-hearted Marathi comedy. He personally thinks regional cinema is taking off and especially films from the Marathi industry. He is very fond of art and will always use cinema to leverage his storytelling side.
